January 2026 Impact

Quick recap! Everything at 431 comes back to three areas that we thrive at: Re:Storing Futures, Re:Building Confidence and Re:Newing Hope. Every class, coaching conversation, practical service, and referral is designed to move women forward in these areas. That’s why our Impact Reports are structured this way. We want to clearly show the real-life change happening as a result of the work our staff and volunteers are doing every day!

Re:Storing Futures

January kicked off our Re:Store series with Re:Store Safety. The goal of this class is to help our ladies understand what Safety can look like as well as provide helpful tips on how to increase their chances of safety. One of the most special parts was that a Side-by-Side Participant was signing up and her 17-year old asked if she could sit in. The mom shared:

“It was important for my daughter to take the safety class with me because we both wanted her to learn what safety looks like. We both wanted her to have the tools to be able to protect herself in our home or anywhere else. From securing our home to having a list of local emergency numbers. To learn to be vigilant when she's out and to have a safety plan in place.”

And speaking of Safety, a key area that we fill the gap for our community is by offering a Safety Plan meeting with any woman who is unsure of her safety or next steps in a dangerous situation. We walk through the reality of her situation, and the possibilities that she faces. The biggest thing that our Advocates hear is “I have no choice” and that is very rarely true. So instead, we help her recognize all of the choices that are in front of her, including (but not limited to) filing for an Order of Protection, calling the police, and doing nothing. Each one comes with consequences that she needs to be prepared for.

Our Advocates’ role isn’t to pressure decisions, but to be a steady, level-headed partner in safety and support her if and when she’s ready to act.

This is one of the questions we present during a Safety Plan, which gives us a clear understanding of where a client may be in her journey.

Re:Building Confidence

After each Re:Store Class, the 431 team also hosts a Connection Lunch, which gives our engaged ladies a chance to connect, share stories and hardships and lean into the community that they are looking for. January was no different and it was a refreshing time of community and stories, with food generously provided by Chick Fil A Spring Hill!

A sweet highlight was a new client who is experiencing joint custody for the first time. She was courageously vulnerable in sharing where she’s at with it and how she was struggling with the change.

Our community of ladies were able to jump in, provide encouragement and care, offering both tissues and advice on how to make it through. Getting to pour out is just as important as being poured into and keeps a good perspective.

Re:Newing Hope

Finally, the Re:New Self Worth class kicked off with a record 22 registrations! We usually cap attendance to 16, but with several women being trained as facilitators for this class in the fall, we were able to change the way discussions occur and have three amazing Table Discussion Leaders.

One of the Table Discussion Leaders shared how touching it is to hear the honesty from our ladies, even from the very first week. This is a safe place to be courageously vulnerable and it has led to some incredible discussions on Self Worth vs Value, who God is, and what they can grab hold of to change the way they think about themselves.
