December 2025 Impact
Quick recap! Everything at 431 comes back to three areas that we thrive at: Re:Storing Futures, Re:Building Confidence and Re:Newing Hope. These are the broader areas that all of our classes, coaching, practical services, and more hope to accomplish. This is why our Impact Reports are always structured the way they are – we want to showcase the growth and changes we are seeing as a direct result of these services. So hang on, because a lot happened!
Re:Storing Futures
While we take a break from the 431 Curriculum in December, the individual coaching doesn’t stop. And this month, our team got the incredible opportunity to step into a woman’s life when she thought she had no future. The story was too long to include as part of this blog, so we highlighted it separately here. The most important part are her own words:
“Thank you so very much for knowing about this shelter and helping me get into here. For me personally I believe this is the place that I will succeed at. I feel comfortable and at ease here. Thank you, 431 Ministries, and the entire staff there for answering my email that day, the kindness and grace you all showed me and the help to get out.
I can't thank you all enough.”
Re:Building Confidence
The 431 Christmas Party is one of the most special things that we get to do as a team each year. Limited to ladies who are engaging in our community and working towards an independent future, we put on some Christmas magic in the midst of a hard season. It’s a fun and wonderful evening filled with food, fellowship, carols and more. But the best part is flipping the script.
Some of our ladies are extremely grateful for the help that an Angel Tree gives them, but many of them don’t have an issue providing a generous Christmas for their kids. Instead, it’s the mother who is left out, especially in a widow’s situation or in a divorce that is filled with tension. Kids wonder why Santa didn’t come for mom, and mom is reminded again that she is alone.
But we are here to make sure they remember that each of them is Known, Seen, and Loved.
So a couple weeks before, we secretly put together a gift list for these ladies and invite donors to participate. We collected wrapping paper, tape, fun ribbons and more.
And then the night of, we set up a special room with all the gifts laid out as part of the kids’ rotations, and they got to shop the room for their mom.
The kids LOVE it.
And it makes the moms cry.
One of the ladies shared her perspective:
“Words cannot express my gratitude to the 431 staff and volunteers for the Christmas party they provided for the ladies of 431. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt seen, loved and celebrated. No detail was overlooked and the opportunity to share this time with other ladies was a true gift. If that wasn’t enough, they made sure that my daughter had gifts to put under the tree for me.
My sweet girl picked out each of my gifts and wrapped them herself. Christmas day, I opened my gifts, and the excitement on my daughter’s face warmed this momma’s heart. Thank you 431 for giving me and my daughter memories we will never forget!”
Re:Newing Hope
December finished strong with 38 unique women served, even despite the a shorter working timeframe, and smaller list of opportunities. (Only two compared to October’s seven!)
It’s been such an honor to be part of so many women’s stories. As we look ahead at 2026’s impact, we can’t wait to see what the Lord will do! Thank you for joining us on this journey.
