April 2026 Impact
Yay!! We have a new office!
If you haven’t yet, come visit us at 1511B Nashville Hwy, Columbia, TN.
Quick recap! Everything at 431 comes back to three areas that we thrive at: Restoring Futures, Rebuilding Confidence and Renewing Hope. Every class, coaching conversation, practical service, and referral is designed to move women forward in these areas, with the goal of healing in every area of their lives.
Re:Storing Futures
Many times when clients reach out the first time, they don’t know exactly what they’re calling for, but someone told us we could help them move forward. Planning is a skill that affects every part of life, from relationships to careers, to housing stability.
21% of women who reached out for help this year said don’t have basic planning skills, but 35% percent admitted that they are inconsistent in using them, and most of them struggle with margin.
Our Re:Store Planning class taught that planning isn't about controlling every part of our lives, but instead about preparation, confidence and wise stewardship of our time, resources and responsibilities. The clients learned that we can look to God in the area of planning, because God is the original planner, creating us with a plan and purpose.
We reminded our ladies that there’s a good balance between living in the urgency of over-commitment and living in the complacency of under commitment. If we ask ourselves whether we have too much margin or not enough margin, we can create a balanced life that reflects our priorities and values. Through proper planning we can find more stability, leading to an independent future.
Re:Building Confidence
431 celebrated a momentous occasion with our first Side-by-Side Graduation in the new space. Sarah has a had a very special journey with our team, and celebrated this new season almost exact 2 years to the day since reaching out for the first time.
Her goal was initially to “make a better life” for her then 9 month old. She has done that and more, changing the trajectory of their story through career changes, stable housing, and a community that truly knows, sees, and loves her. But what is noticed first about Sarah these days is her confidence and joy. The woman that once purposely avoided speaking is now pouring into others and sharing the love that she found in Christ and her mentors.
Her celebration was only the first, but it was a very special one indeed!
Re:Newing Hope
The Re:New Emotional Health series continued in the month of April. This is one of 431’s most popular classes, and walks through the grief journey
Kristin graduated back in August 2025, and both her mentor and 431 leadership recognized the gift of teaching within her. She started by simply facilitating a separate Bible Study back in the fall, and came back to teach the 9-week Re:New Emotional Health class. She shared:
Being able to give back to a life-altering ministry in a specific way means the world to me. If I can use my experiences and what I have learned through 431, I can hopefully show that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Actually using the tools helps set you up for success; being a better mother, daughter, friend… and learn different parts of you that you wouldn’t otherwise experience. Regardless of what they’ve been through, these women are willing to show up and try. It’s amazing to see the lightbulbs go off, and to watch these women realize that they are more loved, less alone than they thought.
