Why your monthly commitment matters to Jennie
Jennie originally heard about 431 through a local business. At 67, she is going through a high-conflict divorce and is scared to start over. She recognized the signs of abuse early on, but the process of leaving was more overwhelming than adjusting who she was to “make it work”. A friend had to call the police one night, and that was the final straw. Jennie is dealing with criticism from her coworkers, grieving the loss of her home, and is wondering “what’s wrong with me that I couldn’t leave before now.” 431 is stepping into each of those situations, teaching new communication skills, offering practical tools to manage her grief, and offering a new belief: that her value is not based on her past choices, and that she still has a future ahead of her.
Her story isn't over yet, but Jennie knows she now has support for the choices ahead… which is only because of our monthly donors.
